Paint color trends come and go (and then come back again) over the years, just like we see with fashion. Over the last decade as a paint color consultant, I’ve seen colors become all the rage only to fade into oblivion a few years later.

As we head into 2025, I’m seeing the trends shifting again – especially when it comes to the most popular neutral paint colors on the market. Neutrals have always been popular and that’s not changing any time soon. But the type of neutral that is in-demand does certainly evolve.

One of the most popular trends for 2025? Neutral warm, beige paint colors! As color consultants, we’re seeing more and more clients ask for a warm beige instead of a cool white or gray.

So, whether you’re looking for a foundation color for a whole-house palette or you simply want a neutral hue for an open-concept living space, let’s explore the best warm beige paint colors for 2025.

About The Color Concierge

In the 2010s, crisp whites and grays were everywhere. Sherwin-Williams Agreeable Gray (Color Review Article) was the brand’s top-selling paint for many years (and is still quite popular). As we got closer to the 2020s, all-white homes were all over social media, often featuring cool, almost stark whites.

In the last year or so, we’ve noticed things changing again. This time, we’ve seen homeowners shift their interest from cooler gray, white and off-white walls to warm, neutral paint colors for their homes. We see it most in our practice where clients tell us they are looking for a warm, homey and cozy feel for their homes.

These updated neutral paint colors for 2025 look and feel similar to the Tuscan era in the 2000’s, but lighter and airier. If you still have Tuscan finishes in your home, these neutrals will work really well! But if you’re in the process of transitioning away from “millennial gray,” they’ll also be a subtle shift toward a warmer palette.

Some of our favorite neutral paint colors for these shifting color trends are warm beige paint colors. There are so many beautiful ones to choose from, so today we’re sharing some of our favorites!

In this post, I’ll review some of the neutral colors that we use most often as foundation or whole-house paint colors (Article) in our color consultations when clients ask for a warm, cozy look and feel.

What is the best way to sample warm beige paint colors?

We always recommend testing paint colors in your home because lighting can completely change how a color looks, both in interiors and exteriors.

In the old days, this meant we painted a large poster board with sample pots and a huge mess.

Now we have a better way to test paint, with Samplize Peel-and-Stick samples!

  • Samples pre-painted with two coats of real paint from the manufacturer.
  • Large 9” x 14” samples to see the color better in the lighting.
  • Delivered overnight
  • Colors are accurate
  • Less expensive than painting a large poster board with sample pots
  • No mess, and no toxic paint to dispose of

I use these in my own color consulting practice for exact results.  Discover Samplize peel-and-stick paint samples. Throughout this post, look for Samplize buttons to get samples of all of the colors we feature.

Best Warm Beige Paint Colors

Beige is a wonderful option if you want a warm, cozy feeling in your home. With many shades to choose from, there’s a beige for just about any space.

Benjamin Moore Manchester Tan & Sherwin-Williams Wool Skein

Manchester Tan (Color Review Article) by Benjamin Moore is a lovely warm beige paint color that’s versatile enough to work in many spaces throughout a home. It is essentially the same color as Sherwin-Williams Wool Skein (Sample), if you prefer to use SW paints.

I love to use Manchester Tan in spaces flooded with light, but it still works in darker rooms. It’s even one of my favorite basement paint colors!

Manchester Tan and Wool Skein both pair well with most warm finishes and decor thanks to their warm green undertones. If your home has granite and earthy tile, this hue complements them well.

Sherwin-Williams Accessible Beige

Sherwin-Williams Accessible Beige (Color Review Article) is another warm beige paint color with green undertones. This color is technically a greige, but it has a lot of taupe in it that helps it lean more toward beige and give it extra warm.

It is more muted and cooler than many other common beige paint colors, but still warmer than a typical gray paint. This is a great option for someone who wants to move away from cool white and gray tones but isn’t totally ready to go all-in on beige.

As seen in the image below, Accessible Beige is also a wonderful color to help bring some warmth to the white kitchen designs (Article) that have been so popular for years now.

Benjamin Moore Natural Linen vs Sherwin-Williams Natural Linen

Both Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams have a paint color called Natural Linen. They’re very similar and people often get them mixed up. They’re also two of the best warm beige paint colors for 2025!

Still, there are some differences between the two hues. Benjamin Moore Natural Linen (Sample) is softer and lighter than Sherwin-Williams Natural Linen (Sample). Both colors have peachy undertones, but the SW version is very peachy and darker than expected. I prefer the Benjamin Moore version because of its softness.

Sherwin-Williams Malabar

This warm, darker beige is a gorgeous color that would be perfect for an accent, moody study, or bathroom with earthy finishes. Part of the 2025 Color of the Year capsule (Article), SW Malabar (Sample) is a warm beige with green undertones.

I love the idea of using it as a kitchen wall color with SW White Snow cabinets or a wall color for a bathroom with black and white accents, as pictured below.

SW White Duck

A swatch of SW White Duck

While it’s often considered an off-white paint color, Sherwin-Williams White Duck (Color Review Article) is actually a creamy, warm cross between a very light beige and a greige. It is muted while still creamy and doesn’t shift to yellow thanks to its warm green undertones.

Maria Killam (my color teacher) calls it a complex cream, and I would 100% agree with that! White Duck looks lovely and creamy on the wall, even in rooms with low light or cool light.

Sherwin-Williams Mortar

Sherwin-Williams Mortar (Color Review Article) paint is another light, warm beige paint color that Maria Killiam would call a complex cream. It has soft, invisible green undertones.

It can be used in place of a traditional white paint color for a space that is bright and airy but still warm and cozy. I used this paint color on my parents’ bedroom and absolutely fell in love with it!

Key Learning Points

Neutral paint colors are always in style. But the types of neutral hues in demand has shifted since I first became a paint color consultant. As we head into 2025, the best neutral paint colors are warm, light and inviting.

  • Cooler grays and whites are becoming less popular, as homeowners opt for warmer paint colors like beige.
  • The popular warm beige paint colors today are reminiscent of the Tuscan era of the early 2000s, but are much lighter and more modern.
  • Neutral paint colors are a great option for a whole-house paint color but can also be used in a single room or as an accent color.

Remember: NEVER, EVER use paint matches from a different brand than the one specified. Results are poor and there are no standards for the sheens.  Even though your painter may truly believe it can be done, don’t do it. See results in our paint matching guide (Article).

No matter what, always test your paint colors. It’s a standard best practice. Whenever I test my paint colors, they are perfect, and when I don’t test they turn out wrong. Learn how to test your paint colors like a pro (Article).
