In our last post we explored how beautiful and versatile Repose Gray is in our client's home. Today, let's talk about how some popular paint colors compare ➡️

🤍 Repose Gray is darker and cleaner than Agreeable Gray. Agreeable Gray is warmer with a green undertone. Usually if one of these colors looks great in a room the other will look bad.

🤍 Gray Heron and Repose Gray both have violet undertones, but Gray Heron is a cleaner, lighter, and crisper version. Repose is murkier. Sadly, it comes with a higher price tag.

🤍 If you love Repose Gray but want a lighter version, then pick City Loft. Both colors have violet undertones and accomplish similar color tasks. I would say that City Loft is the more modern version.

🤍 These are two iconic colors, with similar functions. Revere Pewter has green undertones, whereas Repose Gray has violet ones. If one looks great in a room, the other one won’t. They are both crisp and clean but Repose is slightly darker.

🤍 If you are looking for the Benjamin Moore version of Repose, then Collingwood is your color. It is slightly lighter and cleaner but most people won’t notice it in a room. If Repose looks great, then so will Collingwood.

As color consultants and color geeks, we continue to see warm white paint colors as a popular trend for interior and exterior paint.

With so many warm whites having yellow undertones, it can be hard to find the right creamy color that won’t look yellow on your walls.

That’s where Benjamin Moore Seapearl comes in. Seapearl is a very light warm greige paint color that borders on cream. When clients want a creamy look that won’t skew to yellow, this is the color we often recommend.

It’s beautiful for interior and exterior applications and is a fantastic whole-house paint color. It’s an excellent option for people who don’t like gray but also want something with a bit more pigment than a traditional white paint color.

If you want an office that feels playful and colorful, then Sherwin-Williams Avid Apricot walls could be a great fit.

Avid Apricot is a beautiful, warm peach paint color with orange undertones muted with grays and lightened with white.

Although I consider it a relatively “fresh” color, it’s muted enough to look sophisticated and has enough saturation for the color to look rich. It’s the kind of room color that makes a house a home.

My web designer, Karima Neghmouche of Karima Creative, has this color in her office and it’s so beautiful! I absolutely love the way it looks with the warm wood desk and leather furniture.
